Keel Laying of ‘JILL C’

Carisbrooke Shipping is pleased to announce that the Keel Laying Ceremony of ‘’JILL C’ successfully took place on April 4th, 2024, amidst the bustling activity at Chowgule Shipyard, in Goa, India. This is a major milestone with a traditional Indian ceremony which was marked in collaboration with Vertom.

 

‘’JILL C’ represents innovation and excellence in maritime engineering as a new generation of multipurpose dry cargo vessels. With an impressive capacity of 5,600 DWT and boasting state-of-the-art diesel electric propulsion, ‘JILL C’ is positioned to take operational efficiency to a new level, perfectly aligning with Carisbrooke Shipping’s commitment to environmental leadership in the maritime sector.

The keel laying for ‘JILL C’ not only signifies the commencement of its construction, but also strengthens the cooperation and partnership between Carisbrooke Shipping and Vertom. Jill C is expected to join the Carisbrooke fleet in 2025.
