Carisbrooke Shipping provides a competitive insurance placing service for the vessels and their owners, including cover for Hull & Machinery, Loss of Hire, War Risks, Increased Value and Protection & Indemnity. They have the benefit of the Company’s fleet size, reputation and its relationship with quality brokers, underwriters and P&I Clubs.

Reporting, management and processing of claims are predominantly undertaken by dedicated in-house teams. This, and close co-operation with brokers, underwriters and clubs, assists with prompt and efficient handling and settlement of claims.

A bespoke claims handling system assists with providing the Company’s management with regular assessment of status and trends. There is also the benefit of the historical knowledge the in-house teams hold about incidents, damages and casualties.
